I am called Male Martin, the Director of His mercy children center and outreach (HMCCO) a registered organization for children in Namayumba wakiso District Uganda.

I would like to invite you to join me as a partner. Mercy orphans project is dedicated to help disadvantaged children especially the AIDS orphans and their families in our community to improve their live hood and hopelessness. The project was initiated to take action to the AIDS orphans (children whose parents have died of HIV/AIDS) and other disadvantaged children in my community. AIDS is still alarming in Uganda and has a bigger impact on Africa continent than any other continent, and Uganda is No exception. Even though Uganda has some promising light on the prevention and education about HIV/AIDS, many children have been left orphans and others vulnerable. We can’t leave behind this generation of blameless. The Mercy orphans project has extended family system, like many other organization in the same sphere to tackle this problem to support the OVCs by providing them the basic including, Education support, scholastic materials, feeding, clothing, medication and more…And other issues related to social and economic pressures which has pressed the extended family system to breaking point especially in the worst infected and affected communities here in Uganda. The children  we caring for, many come from single parent families, some are total orphans without any parent, others are picked from the "Street", abandoned and abused, with so many problems. Chronically Poverty, illiteracy, neglect, and poor health are frequent problems. The potential of these children is their thoughts..."God loves them" God will show them love through you with your support and a listening ear, and a warm hand on a trembling shoulder and above all giving them a chance to a positive future through educational training. It is for these reasons that we are inviting you to become our partner in helping children and convey hope and widespread smile on the faces and joy in their hearts.

Remember!!! The smallest you can do now can bring a smile to a hopeless child in this project.
